<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Office-Based OB/GYN Physician is responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive women's health care services in an outpatient setting. This role includes preventative care, prenatal and postpartum care, contraceptive counseling, and the evaluation and treatment of gynecological conditions. The position does not require hospital coverage or on-call delivery services. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to community health and aligns with the mission of CAMcare as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including annual exams, prenatal visits, contraception management, and gynecological procedures. </li><li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions. </li><li>Provide patient education and counseling regarding preventive care, reproductive health, and health maintenance. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with other clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver team-based care. </li><li>Document all patient encounters, diagnostics, and treatment plans accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). </li><li>Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and departmental meetings. </li><li>Support training or mentorship of students and residents affiliated with CAMcare's academic partnerships, if applicable. </li><li>Ensure services align with HRSA, UDS, and other regulatory requirements for quality and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution </li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology </li><li>Valid and unrestricted New Jersey Medical License </li><li>Current DEA and CDS registrations </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient OB/GYN setting preferred </li><li>Experience in community health, FQHC, or underserved populations strongly preferred </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency preferred </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse patient populations </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team </li><li>Commitment to evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement </li><li>Familiarity with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred) </li></ul> <p>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):</p> <ul> <li>= 90% of patient encounters closed in EHR within 72 hours </li><li>Meets or exceeds productivity benchmarks as set by CAMcare </li><li>= 85% patient satisfaction within the OB/GYN department </li><li>Active participation in quality improvement initiatives and peer review </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions & Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Clinical environment with patient interaction </li><li>Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity required </li><li>Occasional Saturday and evening shifts based on patient needs and clinical schedule </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary based on experience and schedule (FT/PT) </li><li>Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 403(b), PTO, CME reimbursement) for full-time employees </li><li>FTCA malpractice coverage </li><li>Eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs (NHSC, HRSA) </li></ul> <p>CAMcare Health Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
