<p>Cook / Sandwich Assembler Team Member - Job Description</p> <p>A Dunkin' Cook / Sandwich Assembler Team Member is generally responsible for preparing sandwiches, wraps, snacks, and other food items according to Dunkin' operational standards while providing guests with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Team Members are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized food preparation area.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare sandwiches, wraps, bagels, croissants, snacks, and other food items according to Dunkin' recipes and standards </li><li>Operate ovens, toasters, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently </li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards </li><li>Assemble and package food orders accurately and quickly </li><li>Maintain proper food quality, freshness, and portion control </li><li>Stock and rotate food products, supplies, and packaging items </li><li>Keep sandwich station, prep areas, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean and organized </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management </li><li>Work with front counter and drive-thru team members to ensure smooth order flow </li><li>Understand menu items, promotions, and limited-time offers to assist guests when needed </li><li>Meet speed of service goals while maintaining food accuracy and quality </li><li>Maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times </li><li>Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers </li><li>Assist with cleaning duties, dishwashing, trash removal, and overall restaurant maintenance as needed </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>No prior experience required </li><li>Food service or kitchen experience is a plus but not required </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Team-oriented with strong communication skills </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and hardworking </li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized </li><li>Willingness to learn and follow procedures </li><li>Guest-focused mindset with positive attitude </li><li>Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Standing for long periods of time </li><li>Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting </li><li>Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. including boxes, food products, and supplies </li><li>Working in hot kitchen areas around ovens and food preparation equipment </li><li>Working in a fast-paced and sometimes small workspace </li></ul> <p>Each franchise organization is an independent employer and thus responsible for making its own recruiting, hiring, and employment-related decisions.
