<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The paralegal will provide complex professional support, gather information to assist attorneys in case preparation, investigate cases, and prepare legal documents for offices throughout the Fond du Lac Region, including the Fond du Lac, Juneau, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan Trial offices. Some travel will be required up to 25% of the time. Travel expectations will be discussed more in depth during the interview process.</p> <p>Join our team and contribute to this key function of SPD, and experience the intrinsic reward of public service. This position is not remote, but occasional, pre-approved remote work may be allowed based on the needs of the office after the initial training period.</p> <p>Here is a copy of the position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting salary will be between $23.75 and $34.03 per hour, which is in pay schedule/range 07-04. Future pay increases will be in accordance with the Compensation Plan. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A one-year probationary period will be required.</p> <p>Permanent classified state employees who are eligible for consideration (transfer, voluntary demotion, or reinstatement) for a position assigned to the stated pay range or counter-part pay range, should complete the application process as described below by the stated deadline.</p> <p>Final selected candidates may be eligible for moving expense reimbursement to relocate to the place of employment.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Background Check: We consider all qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law.
