Experience Cortland dives deep into the region's offerings </li></ul> <p>Major Responsibilities</p> <p>Teach in person and online undergraduate and graduate courses related to educational technology and critical media literacy. Collaborate with other faculty within and beyond linked courses.</p> <p>Functional and Supervisory Relationships</p> <p>Works under the direct supervision of the department chair. Works closely with the department chair, faculty and staff within the department. Additional working relationships with faculty and staff within the School of Education and in other college departments.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>A master's degree in Educational Technology or a closely related field; knowledge of early childhood and/or elementary school curriculum and best practices for using technology as a teaching and learning tool; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>An earned doctorate in Educational Technology or a closely related field, or ABD; knowledge of ISTE and other learning standards and integrating the use of technology to teach content areas at the PK-6 grade levels; three years' successful experience teaching in early childhood and/or elementary school settings; experience teaching in high-need schools; college teaching experience; knowledge of the theoretical and ethical influence of media and technology on society; significant experience with computer hardware and software and management of computer systems; collaborative teaching, and knowledge and experience with data management systems (e.g., Watermark).</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities About the University</p> <p>A top public university of approximately 6,600 students located in the geographic center of New York State, SUNY Cortland provides accessible, affordable education to students from across the U.S. body.
