Headquartered in Bucyrus, OH, this essential position offers training on hauling feed, a supportive team-focused atmosphere, and the opportunity to be home every night.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <p>Our Class A CDL Feed Truck Drivers generally work 50 hours/week M-F, ensuring you have weekends for family time (some flexibility is required based on load schedules and busier periods). Primary responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Operating a tractor-trailer feed delivery truck in a safe manner to transport feed from our feed production facility to our swine production facilities, either owned or contracted </li><li>Delivering 50lb. bagged feed to grower locations via flatbed truck </li><li>Operating semi-tractor hopper bottom unit to pick up bulk ingredients such as soybean meal and wheat midds </li><li>Operating a tow motor to load bagged products or unload 3rd party trucks </li><li>Performing general maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment </li><li>Climb feed bins and on top of feed trucks as needed </li></ul> <p>What You Need:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must not currently own or have routine contact with non-Hord pigs </li><li>Class A CDL and clean driving record are a must </li><li>Ability to lift 55 lbs., climb, bend, and sit for extended periods of time </li><li>Time management skills to ensure loads move on schedule </li><li>Impeccable record of reliability/dependability </li><li>Basic knowledge of Windows, Excel, and email functions </li><li>Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience </li></ul> <p>Your Rewards:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive wages starting at $27/hour </li><li>Paid vacation after 6 months; and holidays upon hire </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (at less than $30/pay for our base plan) </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Financial planning assistance </li><li>Recruitment bonus opportunities </li></ul> <p>We look forward to talking to you more in depth about the opportunities at HORD!</p>
