<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including preparing financial statements, maintaining journal entries, ensuring compliance, and conducting special analyses.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the planning, execution, and management of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance programs across the organization. </li><li>Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control gaps, recommend remediation actions, and monitor progress. </li><li>Prepare and present detailed reports on SOX compliance status, findings, and recommendations to senior management and external auditors. </li><li>Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and process improvements. </li><li>Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOX testing and address audit inquiries. </li><li>Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk </li><li>Administer equity-based compensation plans </li><li>Assist in the preparation of any ad hoc analyses requested by various members of management as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance </li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting </li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or MBA is a plus </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Proficiency in Net Suite and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus </li></ul>
