Assist the DPSCS fleet manager with other fleet duties. Assist with the DPSCS annual inventory process to insure compliance with inventory standard policies. Draft correspondence for the Director, conduct research, recommend and create drafts for policy changes. Represent the department in meetings when the Director is not available.\n\n\n\n\n Assign pool vehicle to employees as requested.\n Schedule?annual?Maryland State?Safety Inspections; take?vehicle?for?required\n emissions?testing.\n Rotate vehicle?assignments to?eliminate\n underutilized vehicles?Inspect\n vehicles?on?a?specific\n time?schedule\n Provide?the?Insurance Division?of?the?Comptroller's?office?with?required?accident reports,?photographs?and?follow?up?information?as?requested?Provide?accident?information?to?the?Attorney?General's?Office?for?civil?litigation.\n Schedule vehicle for routine\n maintenance; arrange for unscheduled maintenance\n Conducts audits\n of departmental inventories to insure accuracy\n Personally witness and confirm\n disposal of soft body and ballistic armor to remain\n in compliance with DGS policy.\n Travel Statewide\n to give in person training\n on the Asset Inventory\n Process and related matters.\n Provides instruction and training statewide to all DPSCS employees on Accident Investigation, supervisor/driver accident report preparations and proper\n accident?report submissions to include\n accident scene photography\n\n\n\n\n</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education:???Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \nExperience: Three years of administrative staff or professional work. \nNotes:\n1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to two?years of the required experience.?\n2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree?from a college or university?for the required experience.\n3.
