<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of nursing operations throughout the hospital during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective staffing and resource management. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred). </li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of recent acute care nursing experience. </li><li>Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licensure and Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida. </li><li>BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required. </li><li>ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) required. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment. </li><li>Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Knowledge of hospital operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards. </li><li>Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the hospital for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule (Per-Diem)</p> <ul> <li>Flexible schedule able to work both Day and Night, as needed. Weekends as needed. </li></ul>
