As part of an integral service team, our community-based therapist deliver life changing Mental and Health services to youth and their families referred by schools, healthcare providers, Family and Children First councils, county courts and more.</p> <p>Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, you will help youth and families overcome challenges, working toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in their community! At NYAP, you're not only a therapist - you're a beacon of guidance and advocacy!</p> <p>Working at NYAP</p> <ul> <li>Generous Time off: 22 Days of Paid Time Off + 11 Paid Holidays, Half Day Friday's during the summer! </li><li>Professional Growth: CEU's, ongoing training/education, tuition reimbursement, and supervision hours </li><li>Productivity: Competitive productivity requirements, excellent productivity bonus structure </li><li>Health and Wellness: Comprehensive healthcare packages for you and your family </li><li>And So Much More: Retirement Matching (401K), flexible hours, mileage reimbursement, phone allowance, paid parental leave </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served</p> </li><li> <p>Travels daily, to provide community based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly reviews and modifies youth based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes and maintains strong relationship with assigned foster parents and families of origin.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth's primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth's case plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.</p> </li><li> <p>LSW or LPC required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in providing both individual and family therapy</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with TF-CBT preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Daily travel required with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or during non-traditional hours if needed</p> </li><li> <p>Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.</p> </li><li> <p>Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>You have good computer and technology skills</p> </li><li> <p>Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Driving and Vehicle Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Reliable personal transportation </li><li>Good driving record </li><li>Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability </li></ul> <p>Apply today!</p> <p>www.nyap.org/employment</p> <p>Benefits listed are for eligible employees as outlined by our benefit policy.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabilities/veterans.</p>
