<p>Build your career in the Public Markets and Public Areas janitorial field! We are looking for a motivated, flexible and professional candidate to work as an Alliance janitorial worker. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of maintenance services in our client facilities in order to guarantee a spotless environment. Maintenance services include food halls, public areas, parking lots, ferry landings, and rest room maintenance. We have day, evening and overnight positions available.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Indoor Maintenance: sweeping & mopping, polishing of floors in various spaces (hallways, lobbies, corridors), kitchen maintenance, trash removal </li><li>Outdoor Maintenance: basic exterior window and glass surface cleaning, sweeping and clearing debris (sidewalks, paths, piers, ferry landings, etc.), vacant lot clean up, basic landscaping (i.e. weed removal, sweeping and raking leaves, etc.), snow removal, trash removal </li><li>Preventative maintenance and daily cleaning with the use of light-duty equipment (i.e. trimmers, blowers, weed-whackers, auto-scrubbers, aerial lifts, etc.) </li><li>Lavatory and locker room maintenance </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of landscaping experience preferred </li><li>Prior janitorial experience preferred </li><li>Professional appearance and communication </li><li>Must be available to work any shift as assigned </li><li>Must be willing to travel to sites throughout the 5 boroughs </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities </li><li>You must be capable of standing and walking for long periods </li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., to bend, reach, and carry </li></ul> <p>We want you to join the Alliance Team!
