<p>Job description: We are seeking a JV Varsity Boys Soccer Coach to lead our High School Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching, sports education, and working with student-athletes. This role involves developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Previous experience in sports coaching is highly valued.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and conduct soccer practices and training sessions tailored to various skill levels </li><li>Teach fundamental soccer techniques, rules, and strategies to players </li><li>Foster a supportive and motivating environment to enhance player development </li><li>Monitor player behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies </li><li>Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities </li><li>Organize and oversee game day activities, including team warm-ups and game strategies </li><li>Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create an engaging program </li><li>Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitude among participants </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in sports coaching </li><li>Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and safety standards </li><li>Experience working with children or students in a sports or educational setting </li><li>Skills in behavior management to maintain discipline during practices and games </li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively engage with student-athletes and coaches </li><li>Ability to motivate young athletes and foster a positive team environment </li><li>CPR Certification is desirable </li></ul> <p>This is a stipend position.</p>
