Some of these benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Weekly pay </li><li>Paid vacation, sick days and holidays </li><li>Medical, dental, vision insurance </li><li>401K Retirement plan with company match </li><li>Travel discounts on our branded properties </li><li>Career growth opportunities </li></ul> <p>Role:</p> <p>The primary role of the Assistant General Manager is to assist the General Manager in providing leadership, guidance and support to the team, while fostering the Buffalo Lodging Associates (BLA) culture and values- Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Inclusive.</p> <p>Responsibilities & Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the facility operations in the absence of the General Manager including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food and beverage and human resources. </li><li>Manage the front office operations and supervising directly the front desk and food and beverage staff. </li><li>Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high franchise Guest Service scores. </li><li>Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management. </li><li>Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and coaching employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving concerns. </li><li>Administrative tasks such as reporting, inventories, accounting processes and much more. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring Us:</p> <ul> <li>Two years related management experience, and hotel brand knowledge. </li><li>Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping and food and beverage. </li><li>Working knowledge of hotel operations - including security and safety programs, personnel (HR) relations, quality assurance programs, long range planning. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Expertise in standard hotel management systems. </li><li>Hands-on leadership </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li></ul>
