<p>Triad Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of high-quality store fixtures. We are looking for an experienced Wood Finisher to join our team and contribute to the craftsmanship and quality of our products.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and repairing imperfections. </li><li>Apply stains, paints, sealers, and clear finishes using spray guns, brushes, and other tools. </li><li>Mixing and matching stains and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures. </li><li>Inspect finished pieces for quality and consistency, making touch-ups as needed. </li><li>Operate and maintain finishing equipment, ensuring a safe and clean work environment. </li><li>Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards. </li><li>Ability to keep area clean and organized. </li><li>Complete tasks delegated by supervisor and/or lead </li><li>Ask questions or seek advice from supervisor when in doubt. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast pace environment. </li><li>Ability to problem solve. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in wood finishing, shading, cabinet making, or furniture finishing. </li><li>Antique furniture refinishing a plus </li><li>1 year of experience </li><li>Ability to showcase a strong work ethic </li><li>Must be able to use HVLP spray guns/pump systems </li><li>Knowledge of various wood types, stains, and finishing techniques. </li><li>Ability to use spray equipment and hand-finishing tools. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality control. </li><li>Ability to lift and move materials as needed. </li><li>Previous experience in automotive paining an surface preparation. </li><li>Flat line spray machine/equipment a plus. </li><li>Ability to learn and repeat finishing processes given by the finishing lead. </li></ul> <p>Candidate must be able to wear a Respirator when spraying in the booths, candidate will be cleared by the company doctor to wear respirator.</p> <p>If you take pride in your craftsmanship and want to be part of a skilled manufacturing team, we'd love to hear from you!</p>
