<p>Quality Control - Roof Observer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Roof Observer is responsible for maintaining a presence at the construction site to ensure that the roofing contractor complies with contract documents, approved submittals, schedules, and safety procedures. The role involves completing daily quality and safety reports among other submittals throughout the week.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a presence at the construction site and interact on a day-to-day basis with roofing contractors, client representatives, and the Interstate Project Manager to coordinate site requirements per job specifications. </li><li>Take photographs of job-site progress and document daily activities and reporting. </li><li>Ensure the roofing contractor complies with the contract documents. </li><li>Complete and submit daily quality and safety reports. </li><li>Inform the Interstate Project Manager of quality issues and safety violations by the contractor. </li><li>Ensure incomplete work is finished prior to the final inspection. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft applications. </li><li>Experience as a Project Coordinator, Quality Control Inspector, or Roofing Inspector. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years experience with roofing, either residential or commercial, including demolition, inspection, or shingling. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year experience using an iPad for professional or personal purposes </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of NEW BERLIN, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
