Strengths of our cold roll extruded, solid-solution alloy pipes are greater than those of conventionally manufactured pipe and tube, due to the fine-grain size achieved through cold working and recrystallization.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Provide focus, direction and leadership for the Shipping/Receiving function. Supervise, direct activities, monitor productivity, measure progress and set expectations regarding safety, productivity, quality and schedule.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages all shipping/receiving/trucking personnel to ensure conformance to established metrics (Safety, TOC, Dock Targets, Productivity and Cost) and adherence to procedures (PC's). </li><li>Reserve material for shipments and record documentation appropriately. </li><li>Trains Production Control personnel in the various tasks needed to support the department, including but not limited to processing change orders; obtaining quotes, writing purchase orders, and following up with outside processing; shipping; master milestone; conversion milestone; exception reports; job release procedures; and split-off travelers. </li><li>Manages shipping schedules based on customer requirements as determined by Sales and Production Control. </li><li>Manage freight costs.
