<p>The National Business Development, Specifications plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of the organization by managing key client relationships across the nation. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans that align with the company's objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Accounts include Owner groups, Contractors, Architects and Designers with a potential role in specification and procurement of CARVART goods and services.</p> <p>National Business Development, Specifications will identify, target, pursue and coordinate CARVART resources to attain sales in line with company goals, interests and capabilities.</p> <p>National Business Development, Specifications will analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.</p> <p>Specification efforts will be direct and/or with coordination with independent CARVART Reps, as needed to maximize success.</p> <p>The National Business Development, Specifications position is National and requires flexibility and service in person and in appropriate time zones.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in a national capacity. </li><li>Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in business administration or a related field. </li><li>Experience in a specific industry relevant to our business. </li><li>Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategic account plans for clients nationally to drive revenue growth. </li><li>Establish and lead relationships with key accounts to secure sales, and favorable terms and conditions. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with client needs. </li><li>Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. </li><li>Role requires regular travel - averaging every other week </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Relationship-building and strong communication skills will be utilized to foster trust and loyalty among clients, which is critical for long-term success.</p> <p>Product and services knowledge is critical to communicating CARVART capabilities and identifying optimal project sales.</p> <p>Analytical skills will be employed to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions that enhance account performance.</p> <p>Negotiation abilities are essential as they will be responsible for securing contracts that benefit both the company and its clients.</p> <p>Daily work will involve preparing for negotiations by analyzing client needs and market conditions, ensuring that the manager is well-equipped to advocate for the company's interests.</p> <p>Communication skills will complement negotiation efforts, allowing the manager to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.</p>
