<p>This U.S.-based position begins with a traditional Language Resource Coordinator focus-supporting the recruitment and onboarding of translators and interpreters for a variety of Church translation projects. Over time, the role will transition toward designing and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and data management across global language coordination efforts.</p> <p>The coordinator will work closely with the Language Resource Coordination team and other Publishing Services Department teams to streamline processes, build reporting tools, and lay the groundwork for a long-term contractor CRM. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination skills and certified technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools.</p> <p>This is a Fixed Term position that it is anticipated to last no longer than 18 months.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes to gain a firsthand understanding of workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and prioritize manual tasks suitable for automation to improve efficiency and scalability.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse); Dynamics 365 experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Support integration efforts with existing Church systems to reduce duplication and improve data consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Create dashboards and reports to track onboarding performance, resource engagement, and process adherence.</p> </li><li> <p>Document automation workflows and processes to ensure maintainability and future scalability.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Language Resource Coordinators and other stakeholders to align automation efforts with global needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to the development of a long-term CRM strategy for managing active and inactive contractors.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain confidentiality of Church translation and interpretation projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Other tasks as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred (linguistics, translation, communications, information systems, or related field), or equivalent experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in project coordination or systems development.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse); Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Applicants must provide certified proof of competency in Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365, or strong references who can speak to completed projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Candidates will be asked to describe past projects using these tools, including scope, outcomes, and technical approach.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong cross-cultural communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to manage projects, solve problems, and communicate professionally under pressure.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in multilingual and multicultural environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with recruitment and talent management processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft 365, video conferencing, and messaging tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Church doctrine, policies, and ecclesiastical structure.</p> </li><li> <p>Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.</p> </li></ul>
