This position also maintains the district warehouse, manages supply inventory, assists with seasonal grounds needs, and ensures compliance with all safety protocols.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Pick up and deliver mail, payroll, monies, and other sensitive or time-sensitive documents. </li><li>Make bank deposits as assigned. </li><li>Order, deliver, and maintain supplies and inventory in the warehouse. </li><li>Ensure accurate supply inventory counts at schools. </li><li>Clean, organize, and maintain the warehouse environment. </li><li>Pick up and deliver equipment and perform special deliveries as requested. </li><li>Assist with snow, ice, and debris removal around the warehouse. </li><li>Perform routine scheduled maintenance checks for the courier vehicle and report issues promptly. </li><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures; report hazards or conditions needing repair. </li><li>Practice energy conservation measures in daily operations. </li><li>Considered essential staff during emergencies. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to hazards or physical risks requiring basic safety precautions. </li><li>Moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, or solvents. </li><li>Work in stockroom/warehouse environment with high dust and dirt levels. </li><li>Occasional outdoor work in heat, cold, dampness, and/or humidity. </li></ul> <p>Physical Effort</p> <ul> <li>Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. </li><li>Heavy lifting of up to 80 lbs or more. </li><li>Use of ladders, scaffolds, forklifts, and truck lifts to move items up to 2,000 lbs. </li><li>Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and handling materials with dexterity. </li><li>Driving large vans and box trucks regularly. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Job Requirements</p> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>Experience driving large vans and box trucks preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license in good standing. </li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-hire/post-offer physical examination. </li><li>MSDS Chemical Right-to-Know training (prior to first assignment). </li><li>AHERA (asbestos) training within 60 working days of employment. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Basic problem-solving skills. </li><li>Safe operation of vehicles, warehouse equipment, and tools. </li><li>Ability to use a forklift and truck lift safely. </li><li>Proficiency with computers, including email, Word, Excel, and Google Docs. </li><li>Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse individuals. </li><li>Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols. </li><li>Ability to follow multi-step written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Minimum age requirement: 18 years. </li></ul> <p>Decision Making</p> <ul> <li>Work is primarily routine, with occasional non-standard assignments. </li><li>Methods and procedures are usually prescribed by the supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Limited independent judgment required.</p> <p>?Salary</p> <p>Placement on Grade 4 of the Teamsters Bargaining Unit agreement (Custodian, Maintenance, and Drivers).</p>
