<p>JOB PURPOSE:</p> <p>Brand-new Pharmacy office style setting location. This location is a closed-door, professional, office-setting, supporting long term care pharmacy practices. We offer competitive pay and a desirable practice setting. Pharmacy Technician practices under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and as part of a team of Certified Triage Pharmacy Technicians. Job responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service by receiving incoming calls from customer facility staff, nursing staff and prescribers; coordinating back-up pharmacy needs; triaging prescriptions within the pharmacy computer system; processing some prescription orders and refill requests and serves as a liaison between the pharmacy and customer healthcare centers.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS. DUTIES. AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Provide quality customer service to our customer healthcare centers. </li><li>Triage customer service requests by department, urgency and information/response required. </li><li>Prioritize daily workflow queues. </li><li>Research questions, issues and variances and provide resolution to customer. </li><li>Collect, prioritize and sort orders and direct to appropriate workflow queue. </li><li>Complete new patient entry into the pharmacy system application. </li><li>Review orders for completeness and contact healthcare centers when orders requiring more information are received. </li><li>Initiate pharmacy procedures for urgent forms and communications to healthcare center staff. </li><li>Coordinate and manage back up order process. </li><li>Enters orders accurately into pharmacy computer application system when required. </li><li>Prioritizes and performs multiple tasks and projects concurrently. </li></ul> <p>Requirements for Position:</p> <p>State Certified in the State of South Carolina</p> <p>Pharmacy Experience - preferred or graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program</p> <p>Family Makes Us Stronger.
