<p>Location: Novi, MI, United States</p> <p>Share:</p> <p>Quick Apply Now</p> <p>Save Job Saved</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Position duties include but are not limited to: coordinates the rental and inside counter sales of new and used Power Systems equipment within the assigned branch to achieve profit goals.</p> <p>Position Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develops high output rental and sales of machinery. </li><li>Develops marketing strategy to reach as wide a market as possible to expand business. </li><li>Conveys the highest quality customer service to all buyers and clients. </li><li>Works with other sales coordinators, branch managers, dispatchers and shops to ensure the completeness of all paperwork and contractual agreements. </li><li>Is required to dispatch trucks in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs. </li><li>Maintains a safety conscious work environment both inside and outside of store. </li><li>Answers in-coming customer phone calls quickly and efficiently. </li><li>Assists with walk-in customers, outside sales force and other departments and works with dispatch to ensure rental orders are completed "on time". </li><li>Writes return tickets and does billing and files it in the proper place. </li><li>Assists with and ensures all equipment in the yard is neat in appearance and in proper order by classification. </li><li>Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor. Assist outside sales with quoting and proper filing of all documentation. </li><li>Is responsible for opening and closing the store and the associated security. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>No formal responsibility for supervising others </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through a high school education with technical training. </li><li>Mechanical troubleshooting experience?preferred </li><li>Communication skills, including verbal, written, non-verbal, listening and presentation skills </li><li>Analytical skills such as problem solving and the ability to interpret policies, procedures and guidelines </li><li>Moderate computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel. Moderate experience using data base systems. </li><li>Must be able to lift 70+ pounds on an as needed basis in order to assist customers with products. </li><li>Ability?to operate all equipment safely </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions</p> <ul> <li>Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented and self-motivated </li><li>Professional demeanor with both internal and external contacts including personal appearance and friendly, courteous treatment of peers, and people at all levels inside and outside the organization </li><li>Proficient computer and data entry skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn CAT/MacAllister/Michigan Cat systems </li><li>Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment </li><li>Numerical competency such that the incumbent has the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages etc. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills </li><li>The ability to work overtime and be on-call as needed, including weekends </li><li>Creative thinking skills; good decision-making skills and basic goal setting skills </li><li>Problem solving skills and a strong ability to apply policies, procedures, guidelines and laws </li><li>Good interpersonal skills, including influence, negotiation, coaching and counseling </li><li>Ability to work outside the standard 8:00am to 5:00pm when required </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements of Position</p> <ul> <li>Works under general supervision. Employee acts independently to handle standard problems but usually report on such problems. More unusual problems are referred to a supervisor/manager </li><li>Major responsibilities typically require a modest amount of creativity and latitude.
