<p>Job Title: Construction Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>We are seeking a high-level Construction Superintendent with a strong background in civil and site work. </li><li>This position involves managing the first phase of a major multi-billion-dollar advanced technology development project. </li><li>The role is based in Syracuse, NY, and involves around 50 hours of work per week. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. </li><li>Implement and enforce construction safety processes and ensure compliance with the project safety plan. </li><li>Oversee all phases of construction, including land clearing, mass grading, utility and infrastructure corridors, roadways, soil replacement, and stormwater management. </li><li>Coordinate the installation of security infrastructure, including permanent perimeter fencing and temporary fencing as needed. </li><li>Utilize knowledge of construction documents and drawings to guide project execution. </li><li>Ensure efficient scheduling and cost control throughout the project. </li><li>Participate in and facilitate the Pull Planning Process to optimize project timelines. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong background in civil and site work. </li><li>Subcontractor management experience. </li><li>OSHA 30 certification. </li><li>Proficiency in construction management. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction software tools. </li><li>Experience with construction safety processes. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Construction-document and drawing literacy. </li><li>Experience in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control. </li><li>Familiarity with the Pull Planning Process. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This position is based full-time on-site in a field trailer environment with additional office facilities available in downtown Syracuse. </li><li>The role involves a rotation with five days of work per week and alternating Saturdays. </li><li>This project covers 680 acres as part of a multi-decade plan to expand domestic chip manufacturing, offering long-term employment opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clay, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $79.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
