Pearl Street, 5th Floor</p> <p>City Albany</p> <p>StateNY</p> <p>Zip Code12207</p> <p>Duties Description As a member of the Public Campaign Finance Unit, the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Public Information Officer are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the administration of debates for candidates participating in the Public </li></ul> <p>Campaign Finance Program who are seeking election to Statewide office.</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Public Information Office with media relations concerning the PCFB. </li><li>Assist the Public Information Office with assembling and fulfilling responses to </li></ul> <p>PCFB FOIL requests.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with drafting the minutes of PCFB Board Meetings, as well as, </li></ul> <p>assembling related documentation, including applicable resolutions, reports</p> <p>and materials.</p> <ul> <li>Work with the training unit to assist with the monitoring, management and </li></ul> <p>updating of the PCFB webpage and social media accounts.</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Public Information Office to ensure that the documents on the </li></ul> <p>PCFB/SBOE website are accessible and screen-readable and meet State</p> <p>accessibility standards and criteria prior to posting on the website.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the monitoring of the PCFB webpage to ensure it is properly </li></ul> <p>updated and functioning.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the preparation and posting of all PCFB public information posted </li></ul> <p>on the PCFB webpage.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the management of legacy website information to ensure </li></ul> <p>accessibility standards are met.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the review and management of PCFB candidate website postings. </li><li>Post website content as instructed by the Director and Deputy Director of PIO. </li><li>Provide administrative support for the Public Information Office as time </li></ul> <p>permits.</p> <p>This position requires the ability to handle sensitive matters in a confidential manner. It also requires proficiency at Word, Excel, Acrobat, Web Development and the routine use of email and a multi-line phone system.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications Four (4) years of progressively responsible office experience or general business or other related Experience. College or business school studies/training may be substituted in whole/part.
