The result is high-performing facilities that help improve business productivity, reduce energy consumption and costs, and provide long-term value.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Reliability Engineer to support and enhance asset performance and maintenance strategies within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. This mid-level role contributes strategically to reliability and continuous improvement efforts by applying data analytics, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and key elements of reliability engineering such as failure analysis, asset criticality assessment, and maintenance optimization.</p> <p>The Reliability Engineer collaborates with operations and maintenance teams to assess asset health, analyze performance data, and recommend actionable improvements. While not responsible for enterprise-level program leadership, the role may independently lead internal account-level projects that target improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and enhanced facility operations. This position is ideal for an engineer looking to apply both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a collaborative, performance-driven setting.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Reliability Metrics & Data Analysis</p> <p>Monitor and report key reliability KPIs by analyzing asset performance data-including failure history, downtime, and work orders. Leverage CMMS and data analytics tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for reliability improvement.</p> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Alignment</p> <p>Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure alignment with client goals.</p> <p>Reliability Leadership & Compliance</p> <p>Lead reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce reactive maintenance, and enhance operational performance. Support audits and compliance efforts by ensuring procedures, documentation, and data meet internal and client standards.</p> <p>Maintenance Strategy & Root Cause Analysis</p> <p>Support maintenance strategy reviews and optimization efforts to align with industry best practices. Assist in root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures. Conduct failure mode analyses and contributes to asset criticality assessments to guide maintenance priorities.</p> <p>Capital Planning & Cost Optimization</p> <p>Support capital planning with data-driven insights on asset condition, lifecycle risk, and performance trends, applying maintenance expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize investment decisions.</p> <p>Additional Responsibilities & Operational Support</p> <p>Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Operations and CI&R leadership.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering (preferably Reliability, Industrial, or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience and/or specialized training in reliability or industrial engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and practical engineering experience.</p> <p>Business Experience</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in applying the concepts of Continuous Improvement (Lean/SixSigma) in a manufacturing facility and or commercial office maintenance environment. </li><li>CMMS platform experience required, Corrigo preferred. </li><li>Maintenance program experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to travel to Canada (valid Passport) preferred.</p> <p>Lean/SixSigma certification is strongly preferred; Ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months</p> <p>Language Skills</p> <p>Strong written and verbal command of the English language required.</p> <p>Technical Qualifications & Skills</p> <p>§ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, Power Query, pivot tables, formula creation, and troubleshooting.</p> <p>§ Experienced with CMMS and SharePoint platforms for asset management and document collaboration.</p> <p>§ Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suite-including Power BI and Power Automate-is desirable.</p> <p>§ Ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts.</p> <p>§ Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and self-management skills.</p> <p>§ Proactive and able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.</p> <p>§ Excellent communication skills, demonstrating respect for coworkers, vendors, and clients.</p> <p>§ Customer-focused mindset, committed to meeting internal customer expectations and resolving quality issues.</p> <p>§ Exceptional spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.</p> <p>Exceptional problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to consider and account for second- and third-order effects in complex projects.</p> <p>Critical thinking acumen; demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and facilitate action-oriented discussion.</p> <p>Comfortable with presenting/communicating in a high-stakes environment, including with company and customer executives.</p> <p>Able to lead with influence alone; proven ability to gain alignment and solve organizational problems without direct oversight over the personnel in other departments who form the cross-functional team.</p> <p>Industry knowledge; familiarity with mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire/life/safety; ability to read technical drawings, site plans, and legal language</p> <p>Exceptional time management and detail orientation; able to balance multiple competing demands and priorities.</p> <p>Continuous improvement mindset; open to learning new skills and passionate about innovation and operational excellence</p> <p>Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment; takes initiative.</p> <p>Team-orientation; shares knowledge and expertise freely and committed to the success of the team.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
