The manager is to check out technology, ensure it is in working order, and facilitate repairs.</p> <ul> <li>The manager will maintain an inventory of technology used, repaired, or destroyed during summer school. </li><li>The manager will ensure teachers track who is using the Chromebook. </li><li>The manager will collect documentation of daily Chromebook usage and distribution. </li><li>The manager will track all technology and put in work orders to repair damaged technology within 24 hours of discovery </li><li>The manager will bill students/parents for Chromebook breakage. </li><li>The manager will clean and return technology at the end of summer school to the Campus 1:1 tech coordinator. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Current BISD employee in a campus-based position </li></ul> <p>SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of district technology tracking systems </li><li>Ability to keep clear and concise documentation </li><li>Ability to communicate appropriately with campus leadership, district leadership, students, teachers, and parents/guardians </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Current BISD employee who is stationed on a campus </li><li>Tech tracking/inventory management experience preferred </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <p>Mental Demands</p> <ul> <li>Maintain emotional control under stress </li><li>Ability to work with frequent interruptions </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Light lifting and carrying, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers and repetitive hand motions; frequent bending and stooping </li><li>Prolonged use of computer </li></ul> <p>Environmental Demands</p> <ul> <li>Normal office environment </li><li>May work varied hours, particularly at the start and close of summer school </li></ul>
