<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO to support an effort with US Space Force.</p> <p>As the Chief Systems Engineer you will be oversee, manage, and lead an enterprise-level evolution of government facilities, hardware, and software technical baselines. This position is listed as a "key position" for the contract, reflecting its critical importance to our mission success.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees all system engineering efforts. </li><li>Define and prioritize technical requirements. </li><li>Conduct system engineering trade studies. </li><li>Translates requirements into executable solutions. </li><li>Recommend engineering and technology investment courses of action based on trade studies. </li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with organizational, user, and tenant stakeholders. </li><li>Support operations, maintenance, integration, and provide tenant support. </li><li>Manage an integration roadmap. </li><li>Recapitalize technology and recommend new capability investments. </li><li>Led efficiency improvements to drive efficiencies and contain life cycle cost. </li><li>Convene and lead working groups (both standing and temporary) to conduct studies, perform trades, and develop effective solutions. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Masters and ten (10) years or more experience in in engineering, computer science, or a related IT field. </li><li>10 years of industry-related experience, including a minimum of 5 years in software development, test and/or integration of capabilities in operational Department of Defense (DoD) or other national security facilities. Experience may include roles in both industry and Government settings. </li><li>Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. </li><li>Proven ability to document complex hardware/software configurations and baselines. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary working groups. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic planning and investment. </li><li>In-depth understanding of national security requirements and DoD operational environments. </li></ul> <p>Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.
