These are 9-month appointments with full benefits and a teaching load of eight courses across the academic year. Initial appointments may be for one or three years and are renewable, contingent upon satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding. Professional-track faculty may also become eligible for promotion and for renewable contracts of up to five years in length. The successful candidate will teach a 4:4 load of English 101 and/or English 102 with the possibility of other English courses, dependent upon the needs of the department.
