Researches and resolves routine policy and transactional questions related to the use of the HR policies and practices. Uses procedures, policy manuals, knowledge base and other reference materials to assist in answering colleague inquiries and resolving issues. Suggests methods to update, simplify and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Interacts with customers via telephone to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of human resources transactions. </li><li>Provides guidance and counsel to colleagues on the requirements and provisions of benefit programs and assists with more complex resolution of potential problems. </li><li>Documents all contacts and outcomes with the HR Service Center's case management system. </li><li>Escalates more complex questions to subject matter experts on the team for assistance and resolution. </li><li>Completes HR transactions in Workday as required </li><li>Works on projects/matters of limited to moderate complexity in a support role. </li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. </li><li>Assists with collecting data necessary to complete government compliance activities (5500s, audits, etc.), employee mailings, vendor billings, coordinating data collection and updating benefits reports to leadership. Assures processes and procedures are in place to capture and maintain consistent and accurate benefit related data. </li><li>Ensures that all service center quality standards are met. </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Minimum Education-Preferred</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred </li></ul> <p>Minimum Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience </li></ul> <p>Required Additional Knowledge and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with benefits program and benefits administration, including Section 125 regulations, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, and IRS regulations. </li><li>Knowledge of human resource management systems is preferred, with Workday experience a plus. Must be proficient in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Office suite. </li><li>Must be able to anticipate and meet deadlines, and work well under pressure </li><li>Time management skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to prioritize are critical. </li><li>Able to work independently, but also be able to work with a team. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for success in this position, as are strong analytical skills and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>8:30-5</p> <p>Responsibilities if Required:</p> <p>Education if Required:</p> <p>License/Registration/Certification Requirements:</p>
