This role ensures system reliability, security, and efficiency in a hosted on-premises environment while managing a team of programmers and application support analysts. The Vice President of Core Services collaborates with leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives, oversees system upgrades and implementations, and drives process improvements to optimize service delivery.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead daily operations, maintenance, and security of the Symitar Core system and third-party applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of core banking systems in a hosted on-prem environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with departments to implement new software solutions, including loan origination and account opening systems, manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations while minimizing downtime and business impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with leadership to prioritize and execute technology initiatives that align with business goals, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend cost-effective enhancements to core and third-party systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage, mentor, and provide training to programmers and application support analysts, establish clear goals, performance metrics, and professional development plans for the team.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures while ensuring adherence to security protocols, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>10+ years of experience managing core banking systems, preferably Symitar, with proven leadership experience in IT operations, system administration, and application support.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical expertise in Symitar Core, third-party applications, and hosted on-prem environments with excellent leadership, team development, and project management skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with software implementations, integrations, and process automation in a financial services environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to evaluate and implement technological advancements for operational efficiency with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of regulatory and security standards related to financial institutions.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll get:</p> <ul> <li> <p>All Employees: weekly pay and retirement savings options.</p> </li><li> <p>Full Time Employees: comprehensive health coverage including medical (with prescription), dental, vision, HSA match, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.</p> </li><li> <p>To see a full list of our benefit offerings, check out this helpful guide!</p> </li></ul> <p>Have additional questions about the role?
