<p>Lakota Local School District is a vibrant and dynamic educational community, serving over 18,000 students.</p> <p>Everything WE do is designed to provide a future-ready, student-centered learning experience for every single child.</p> <p>Description: Instructional Aide - Special Education / Mentally Disabled, .875 FTE</p> <p>Job Summary: This position is to assist teaching staff and students to enable students the opportunity to reach their potential.</p> <p>Monitor student stress and respond to behaviors (i.e. hitting, kicking, spitting)</p> <p>Implement general behavior/classroom management skills</p> <p>Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students</p> <p>Assists students with hygiene/bathroom, toileting functions and eating.
