<p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>JM Steel is seeking to fill the position of a Sales Representative responsible for selling flat roll carbon steel products and addressing client inquiries and concerns in designated accounts or region(s). This position will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. This role has a flexibility to be based out of any state.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Preferred; or Minimum Three (3) Years Field Sales Experience; or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience </li><li>Sales Experience in Manufacturing Industry Required </li><li>Steel Sales Experience Required </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and closing deals. </li><li>Exercise strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and budget. </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to persuade and influence others. </li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Willingness to travel 75% + within USA to meet with clients, attend industry events and work a flexible schedule with significant local/overnight travel. </li><li>Possess standard reading, writing, math skills </li><li>Knowledge of the steel products or manufacturing industry </li><li>Basic knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques with emphasis on post-sale customer service </li><li>Ability to maintain professional appearance and provide positive, trustworthy company image to public </li><li>Possess proficient reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to facilitate sales objectives </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record. </li></ul> <p>RESPOSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Locates new customers through phone calls, personal visits, internet research, networking, and business publications to continually increase sales and expand customer base. </li><li>Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional, effective manner by maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations. </li><li>Prepares quotes and contracts for potential customers and maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations. </li><li>Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications. </li><li>Ensures that customers' orders are processed accurately and regularly monitors customer need to facilitate continuous product availability. </li><li>Provides post-sale customer service as needed to maintain good customer relations and increase sales. </li><li>Shares any information that may benefit others in company. </li><li>Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750; free concierge primary care; voluntary 401k plan currently matching up to 12%; voluntary dental and vision plans; free telemedicine services; basic life, long and short term disability coverage. </li></ul> <p>EOE M/F/D/V</p>
