We will accomplish this by focusing on Safety, Integrity, and Teamwork.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW</p> <p>TITLE: Payroll Compliance Specialist - Commercial Services</p> <p>LOCATION: 6970 S 6th Street Oak Creek, WI 53154</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Payroll Manager</p> <p>EMPLOYEE: Part Time, Non-Exempt (25-28 hours)</p> <p>KEY RESULT AREAS</p> <ul> <li>Time card Auditing </li><li>Perform daily review of time card entries in the ADP time system. </li><li>Compare scheduled hours to actual hours worked. </li><li>Identify and escalate discrepancies or exceptions that may lead to unnecessary labor costs. </li><li>Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and federal/state labor regulations. </li></ul> <p>Operational Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with Commercial Services managers across Operations and Sales teams. </li><li>Answer questions regarding employee time and payroll rules. </li><li>Support timecard corrections and ensure timely and accurate updates. </li></ul> <p>Payroll Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Monitor for adherence to payroll rules and system controls. </li><li>Proactively identify potential issues related to pay codes, overtime, or scheduling anomalies. </li></ul> <p>Special Projects</p> <ul> <li>Assist with payroll-related projects and reporting as assigned. </li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives for timekeeping processes. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Detail-Oriented: Accurately reviews high volumes of data with minimal errors. </li><li>Analytical Thinking: Identifies trends or anomalies in payroll patterns and suggests improvements. </li><li>Communication: Clear and professional when interacting with team members and management. </li><li>Cultural Fit: Professional and collaborative mindset; brings a positive attitude and team spirit. </li></ul> <p>GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Education - High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. </li><li>Experience - 3+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance.
