If you want to use your skills to build a healthier, more resilient community, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This position is with the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, 1547 Parkway Greenwood, SC 29646.</p> <p>The Mental Health Professional II will lead Beckman's Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in providing evidence-based services, throughout Beckman's catchment area, in intensive, non-residential treatment settings and rehabilitative services in accordance with the fidelity model. This Team is a single fixed point of responsibility for treatment, rehabilitation, and support needs for patients with serious mental illness (SMI) who require higher levels of care, as they have not, previously, been well supported in lower level of care options.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional II (ACT Team Lead):</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the administrative operations of the team </li><li>Provide clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices </li><li>Provide direct services to ACT service beneficiaries </li><li>Ensure services are documented in accordance with SCOMH/QA requirements </li><li>Provide direct supervision to ACT team members to include but not limited to facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be licensed as licensed psychologist, LISW-CP, LPC, or LMFT. Three years' experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent menta illness and a minimum of two years post graduate experience </li><li>Current and valid South Carolina Driver's License </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Supervisory experience is preferred. </li><li>Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus. </li></ul> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care. This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
