These 4 Core Values describe very high standards of professional behavior that all SwapLoader employees must seek to achieve.</p> <p>Purpose The Product Engineer 1 role is an engineering support position that provides technical solutions to other engineering and manufacturing positions within SwapLoader. This role executes engineering changes, development, and testing to strengthen product performance and grow SwapLoader's competitive advantage in the market.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities Product Improvement (75%)</p> <p>Execute product improvement changes in accordance with established processes and standards. Create and edit manufacturing drawings. Conceptualize and support planning of new products. Prepare test reports and execute them under the supervision of more senior engineers.</p> <p>Quality & Manufacturing Support (20%)</p> <p>Root cause analysis, technical process audit and improvement, design for manufacturability studies and implementation of associated product changes. Conceptualize and support planning of new products. Prepare test reports and execute them under the supervision of more senior engineers.</p> <p>Other Duties (5%)</p> <p>Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.</p> <p>Additional duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals and priorities. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing, to meet organizational goals and priorities.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred). Experience: 0 to 5 years. Computer Skills: Proficiency with CAD software; AutoDesk Inventor experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Other Requirements: Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and PC proficiency are a plus. Some travel is necessary.</p> <p>Core Competencies</p> <p>Communication: Communicates effectively verbally and in writing, producing clear, concise, and professional content and adapting style to audience and setting. Adaptability: Adjusts quickly and effectively to changing circumstances, priorities, and feedback.</p> <p>Working Arrangement</p> <p>This role will work 100% onsite at our Des Moines, IA location.</p> <p>Physical Demands Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 -25 lbs force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are greater than that required for Light Work.
