<p>Job Title: Vice President, Business Strategy</p> <p>Department: Investments</p> <p>Reports To: EVP, Head of Business Strategy</p> <p>FLSA Code: Exempt</p> <p>Estimated Salary: $220,000 - $240,000</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Business Strategy leader will play a central role in shaping and executing the firm's strategic agenda across growth initiatives and platform expansion. Reporting to the Head of Business Strategy, this individual will partner closely with senior leadership, investment teams, product management and distribution to drive initiatives that accelerate revenue growth, broaden product capabilities, and enhance the firm's market presence. This role is designed for an experienced strategy professional with deep familiarity in acquisitions and asset management who can operate as both a strategic thought partner and an execution-oriented operator across complex, cross-functional initiatives. Cohen & Steers is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities/Activities:</p> <ul> <li>Work with the Head of Business Strategy to develop enterprise and business-line strategic plans aligned with the firm's growth objectives. </li><li>Partner across investment, product, distribution and finance to coordinate stakeholders, align priorities, and drive execution against strategic objectives. </li><li>Assist in sourcing, modeling, evaluating potential growth and synergies, and executing acquisition and partnership opportunities. </li><li>Perform strategic diligence including market attractiveness, strategic fit, competitive positioning, and growth potential assessments. </li><li>Coordinate with strategy, investments, distribution and finance to support transaction execution and post-close value creation. </li><li>Support executive-level strategy discussions through preparation of materials, insights, and recommendations. </li><li>Drive coordination of broad initiatives including workplan development, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, and delivery of measurable outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>12-15 years of experience, ideally with a banking and/or buyside business strategy background </li><li>Experience supporting M&A or strategic partnership processes preferred </li><li>Strong executive presence and ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels </li><li>Highly collaborative, strategic, and proactive in approach </li><li>Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives </li><li>Is able to abide by the firm's hybrid work arrangement policy in New York City office (4 days in-office/1 day remote) </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
