Whether it is through animal conservation, education or tree-planting, we like to give back in as many ways as we can to help our communities flourish.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Responsible for establishing and executing direct sales efforts within the travel industry for North American based tour operators and travel agencies (online and offline), and third party intermediaries to exceed annual revenue and occupancy targets for Kerzner hotels and resorts</p> <p>Maximize sales, grow business share and ensure Kerzner hotels and resorts maintain the highest level of professional profile throughout the travel industry in North America.</p> <p>Develop and execute commercial partnerships and activations for consumers with other luxury brands (ie- fashion houses, luxury car companies, equestrian events, etc). The colleague may work from our Los Angeles office or remotely on the West Coast, with frequent travel required.</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maximizes revenue opportunities and drives share from within assigned territory and accounts to Kerzner hotels and resorts; One&Only Resorts, Atlantis, SIRO, and Rare Finds. </li><li>Maintain a robust and frequent (2-4 trips/month) travel schedule of sales trips (solo, and with hotel colleagues), trade shows, and host FAM trips. </li><li>Leads and manages global effort for travel agency and tour operator accounts including co-op marketing plan creation, and execution of global or individual net rate agreements. </li><li>Implement and execute sales and marketing strategies across six strategic pillars: Campaigns, Partnerships, Consumer, Travel Agent, Airline and Niche Markets. </li><li>Develop and execute commercial partnerships with other luxury brands outside traditional travel partners and host consumer activations. </li><li>Participate in daily calls with RSO Americas Team. </li><li>Maintain a social media presence with travel partners. </li><li>Requirement to stay on top of budget and constantly track spend. </li><li>Ability to follow company SOPs and protocols when planning events and working with outside vendors. </li><li>Develop partnerships and activations to promote the brand's Private Homes real estate offerings to potential buyers. </li><li>Development of activations at Virtuoso Travel Week and other conferences including sourcing venues, building and managing invitation lists, presenting on track appointments, and presenting during industry panels or sponsored speaking opportunities. </li><li>Maintains a salesforce database of contacts, sales activities, marketing activities, and budget in a timely and efficient manner. </li><li>Curates interesting and on-brand events for both consumer and trade including an annual US Roadshow. </li><li>Managing goals with key accounts and implementing measurement against agreed targets for Kerzner hotels and resorts </li><li>Develops and delivers trainings to ensure product knowledge updates for all contact points including product managers, agency owners, independent contractors, and house agents. </li><li>Implements incentives and drives reward programs to increase sales for Kerzner hotels and resorts </li><li>Manages and develops opportunities from airlines for partnerships on familiarization trips, marketing, and events. </li><li>Conducts regular product presentations and training to key consortia trade partners (Virtuoso, Signature, SELECT, etc.). </li><li>Monitors forward booking trends and domestic forecasts and introduce appropriate promotional activities and rate strategies to ensure forward shortfalls are minimized. </li><li>Develops and execute annual focuses and strategies in assigned market for each resort individually. </li><li>Maintains high profile industry relationships with tourism bodies, associations, airlines, and within the travel industry. </li><li>Assists visiting hoteliers by making sales appointments and arrangements in territory, and leads the sales trips and events. </li><li>Executes dinners and events ensuring they are on-brand </li><li>Working closely with the Regional Director Sales & Marketing, The Americas to ensure that all sales, marketing and PR initiatives are executed across North America. </li><li>Executes all required reporting on-time including weekly sales reports in addition to salesforce entries. </li><li>Ensures strong communication with hotel teams, including presenting on monthly calls with each property to ensure strategies are being implemented according to the commercial plan. </li><li>Manages expenses in Concur and Salesforce, ensuring allocations are accurate per Kerzner SOP's </li><li>Performs any other related duties as assigned by Regional Director Sales & Marketing, The Americas </li></ul> <p>Our company is expanding faster than ever before.
