As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.</p> <ul> <li>Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment and machinery </li><li>Perform quality control checks and inspections throughout the production process </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime </li><li>Follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment </li><li>Maintain accurate records of production data, quality metrics, and equipment maintenance </li><li>Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet targets </li><li>Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines as needed </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes </li><li>Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace </li><li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards </li><li>What You'll Do: </li></ul> <p>As an Optical Manufacturing Associate, you'll play an integral role in our production team. Based on department needs, your duties may include tasks such as:</p> <ul> <li>Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards. </li><li>Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards. </li><li>Surface: Using state of the art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing. </li><li>AR Department: Operating state of the art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards. </li></ul>
