<p>Calhoun County | Onsite | Through April 1</p> <p>We are seeking a results-driven Volunteer Recruiter to support our community tax program by actively recruiting and screening volunteers from local businesses and organizations in Calhoun County. This is a temporary, part-time, paid position with bonus potential based on meeting recruitment goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proactively recruit volunteers through cold calls, emails, and in-person visits to local businesses </li><li>Promote the tax program and communicate volunteer opportunities clearly and professionally </li><li>Screen and vet prospective volunteers to assess skills, availability, and program fit </li><li>Track outreach activity and progress toward established recruitment goals </li><li>Work onsite and travel locally for community outreach (mileage reimbursed) </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Duration:</p> <ul> <li>Temporary position through April 1 </li><li>20-28 hours per week </li><li>Flexible schedule within office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Comfortable with cold calling and in-person outreach </li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills </li><li>Self-motivated and goal-oriented </li><li>Reliable transportation for local travel </li><li>Experience in recruiting, sales, outreach, or volunteer coordination preferred </li></ul> <p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, meeting goals, and making a direct impact in the community.</p>
