<p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client is a growing medical device company focused on delivering innovative healthcare solutions. The organization operates in a highly regulated environment and prioritizes product quality, compliance, and patient safety. They are currently looking to add a Program Manager - Manufacturing Systems to their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$85/hr - $100/hr (based on relevant experience)</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Program Manager - Manufacturing Systems will be responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and delivery of a large-scale MES and Operations Technology implementation. This individual will manage integrated project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, dashboards, RACI matrices, and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams. This role is ideal for a senior-level program manager who enjoys leading complex cross-functional initiatives, building structure around large-scale system implementations, and partnering with business, technical, quality, finance, and external implementation teams to drive execution.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Program Manager - Manufacturing Systems:</p> <ul> <li>Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of major strategic technology initiatives supporting manufacturing operations. </li><li>Coordinate the design and implementation of MES and Operations Technology systems across cross-functional teams. </li><li>Build and maintain integrated project plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, status updates, RACI matrices, and RAIDE registers covering risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and escalations. </li><li>Partner with Finance to support budget alignment, purchase order tracking, cash flow visibility, and program-level financial updates. </li><li>Maintain project communication tools and documentation through platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Smartsheet, and related project management tools. </li><li>Coordinate workshops with internal stakeholders and external system integration partners. </li><li>Lead program core team meetings, steering committee updates, and cross-functional project reviews. </li><li>Partner with Product Owners, Agile teams, and delivery teams to assess timelines, dependencies, change requests, and release readiness. </li><li>Support Agile/SAFe planning activities, including PI planning alignment and impact assessments. </li><li>Identify, assess, and escalate project risks, blockers, and resource concerns to support successful program delivery. </li><li>Ensure project activities align with company quality standards, computer systems validation procedures, regulatory expectations, and corporate policies. </li><li>Support documentation, communication, and governance practices within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. </li><li>Travel domestically or internationally as business needs require. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Program Manager - Manufacturing Systems:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of overall professional experience in a technical, manufacturing, IT, engineering, or systems-related discipline, along with 5+ years of demonstrated program management experience. </li><li>Experience supporting or leading MES / Manufacturing Execution System implementations is required. </li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, Operations Technology, SDLC, and infrastructure program management. </li><li>Experience working in regulated environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or other quality-driven manufacturing settings. </li><li>Knowledge of computer systems validation, QMS compliance, and regulated system documentation practices. </li><li>Experience managing large-scale technical programs across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. </li><li>Strong experience developing and maintaining project plans, Gantt charts, RAID/RAIDE logs, dashboards, RACI matrices, and executive-level status updates. </li><li>Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge timelines when needed, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Program Manager - Manufacturing Systems:</p> <ul> <li>Project management certification is preferred. </li><li>Agile and/or SAFe experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Experience with the following tools is highly preferred: </li><li>MS 365 Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. </li><li>Smartsheet. </li><li>Miro. </li><li>Jira and Confluence. </li><li>SAP or other ERP systems. </li><li>Salesforce or CRM environments. </li><li>Integration tools such as Mulesoft. </li><li>PLM / QMS applications such as Arena. </li><li>PPM tools such as Clarity. </li><li>Timeline Pro or similar project planning tools. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
