The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams spanning AI/ML, application development, and data platforms, while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for scale, security, and operational readiness.</p> <p>What You Will Be Responsible For</p> <p>Solution Execution & Delivery Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Translate platform architecture and product requirements into executable delivery plans across internal and partner teams </li><li>Lead coordinated delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning: Front-end applications, Backend services and APIs, Data platforms and AI/ML components </li><li>Ensure consistent, high-quality execution aligned to architectural standards </li></ul> <p>Cross-Domain Integration</p> <ul> <li>Drive seamless integration across application, data, AI, and partner ecosystems </li><li>Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, integration risks, and technical gaps </li><li>Maintain alignment with requirements and architecture while ensuring practical execution </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across, Applied AI / ML, Data engineering, Application development </li><li>Provide day-to-day direction, prioritization, and coaching </li><li>Build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Delivery Quality & Enterprise Readiness</p> <ul> <li>Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for Scalability and performance, Security and resilience, Regulatory and compliance requirements, and Operational supportability </li><li>Oversee transition from proof-of-concept to pilot and production </li><li>Establish practices for testing, documentation, release management, and operational readiness </li></ul> <p>Execution Governance & Process</p> <ul> <li>Define and manage delivery processes, including Sprint planning and execution cadence, Cross-team coordination mechanism Issue tracking, escalation, and risk management </li><li>Align engineering execution with product priorities and architectural constraints </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary coordination point across engineering, product, design, and risk/compliance teams </li><li>Communicate delivery status, trade-offs, and risks to senior stakeholders </li><li>Facilitate alignment across internal teams and external partners </li></ul> <p>What We Value</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to lead delivery of complex, multi-component technology platforms </li><li>Strong capability in translating architecture into executable, coordinated delivery </li><li>Experience operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with ambiguity </li><li>Leadership style that emphasizes team development, accountability, and execution discipline </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>15+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or AI/ML-enabled systems </li><li>Demonstrated experience leading teams delivering enterprise-scale, integrated technology solutions </li><li>Strong foundation across: Application development (front-end and backend), Data and analytics platform, AI/ML-enabled systems </li><li>Experience integrating complex systems across APIs, data layers, and partner ecosystems </li><li>Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and enterprise integration patterns </li><li>Experience in financial services or other regulated environments </li><li>Strong people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management </li><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Matters</p> <p>This role sits at the center of one of State Street's most strategic initiatives-bridging vision and execution. You will shape how a next-generation digital platform is built, scaled, and operated, delivering meaningful impact for institutional clients and individual investors.</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$170,000 - $267,500 Annual</p> <p>The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
