<p>The E.W. Scripps is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Partner for a 6-month, full-time opportunity. In this role, you'll focus on sourcing and building a strong talent pipeline to support our Senior Talent Acquisition Partners-for various roles throughout our organization.</p> <p>You'll play a key role in identifying top talent, engaging passive candidates, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and hiring teams. We're looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and a strategic mindset to talent acquisition.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role based in Downtown Cincinnati, with 2 in-office days per week.</p> <p>If you're passionate about recruitment especially sourcing, love building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Support and coordinate the recruiting process which entails everything from:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Partner with a team of Sr. Talent Acquistions partners to source and qualify applicants for various roles throughout the organization</p> </li><li> <p>advertising the position broadly to sourcing qualified candidates</p> </li><li> <p>screening resumes to conducting and documenting initial screens to driving and participating in the interview process</p> </li><li> <p>evaluating candidates to securing background and pre-employment assessments, and</p> </li><li> <p>working with hiring managers and HR to extend and manage offers to following up with candidates not selected and creating a strong positive candidates experience for all.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain all pertinent hiring/applicant data in the applicant tracking system</p> </li><li> <p>Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need by utilizing aggressive sourcing strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Post openings in our aggregator, local advertisements, professional organizations and via social media avenues; use social and professional networking sites to identify, source and create connections with both active and passive candidates</p> </li><li> <p>Build and communicate an attractive value proposition for prospective candidates including information on Scripps, the brand/division, the position, Scripps benefits, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and status updates, guiding candidates through the process, soliciting candidate requirements, negotiating, and selling fair and equitable offers of employment</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct interviews and interpret the results of employment tests, assess candidate qualifications and confidently present findings to hiring managers</p> </li><li> <p>Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to talent acquisition and the media industry to provide strategic insights and guidance to managers and partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience</p> </li><li> <p>Generally, 2+ year of experience in recruiting preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Skills in recruitment, sourcing, candidate development, and evaluation processes</p> </li><li> <p>Proven relationship-building skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and negotiating skills</p> </li><li> <p>General knowledge of various employment laws and practices</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work with employees at all levels within the organization to foster a spirit of teamwork</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to gather and analyze information skillfully</p> </li><li> <p>Resourcefulness and ability to take initiative</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and maintain a flexible work schedule on an as-needed basis</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment as well as experience with applicant tracking systems</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Standard work environment</p> </li><li> <p>No lifting required</p> </li><li> <p>No driving required</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-SM2</p> <p>#LI-HYBRID</p> <p>If you are a current Scripps employee, please do not apply on this site.
