It is important all teams work cross functionally to ensure the production process from start to finish runs smoothly. This role is a bridge between customer and production follow up. This role will require analytical abilities, creative thinking, historical data keeping, and knowledge of market trends, just to name a few.</p> <p>Job Tasks</p> <ul> <li>Manage daily communication to customers and being a main contact for follow-up; be readily available to meet with customers to work through issues and relaying information to internal teams accordingly until resolution is met. </li><li>Develop a high touch, interdependent customer relationship </li><li>Understand customer's strategy and initiatives </li><li>Communicate timely and effectively with customer on all relevant topics </li><li>Tracking customer T&As, POs, Targets, Projections, Booked orders & sales. Costing Sheets, Development Deadlines </li><li>Strategize with internal Design & Merch to align with customer calendars, development concerns, collection development, etc. </li><li>Help manage cross functional meetings- help prep related documents, manage calendar invites/ invitees. </li><li>Develop a deep, inclusive, and interdependent relationship with our global merch teams </li><li>Communicate effectively and productively with our global teams </li><li>Align on common internal objectives </li><li>Manager should be familiar with customer systems to pull need data for sales reporting but agree not to pull POs and TPs </li><li>Create Seasonal Kick Off strategy document for each season for each customer, to outline financials, on order, strategic initiatives for the season, and collection planning for design. </li><li>Monthly sales reporting & customer store visits for photos and product review. </li><li>Staying up-to-date on retail happenings and reporting when anything of significance happens within the marketplace. Market intel reports for internal team and customers as needed. </li><li>Assist in preparing reports for corporate initiatives, such as sustainability efforts and quarterly earnings. </li><li>Be available to travel as needed, primarily New York meeting based, but could have travel to Fort Myers, Minneapolis, Hong Kong, etc., based on business needs. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree & related experience </li><li>Passion for the retail world and it's happenings </li><li>Be a self-starter and have ownership of required tasks </li><li>An eye for product and trends </li><li>An understanding of retail analytics and financial metrics </li><li>Ability to communicate with customers & cross functional partners, clearly and efficiently </li><li>Willingness to travel domestically and international if needed as well as be available for calls. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, & Microsoft Teams. </li></ul> <p>Our Company</p> <p>At Cobalt, knitwear is our passion.
