Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Creating various metal assemblies using advanced MIG & TIG welding practices along with plasma cutting, of various metals, including stainless steel and other alloys with precision and adherence to industry & company standards. </li><li>Assembling complex metal structures & assemblies by fitting, aligning, and welding components together ensuring alignment and structural integrity. </li><li>Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. </li><li>Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools. </li><li>Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications. </li><li>Maintain a safe and organized workspace in compliance with company and OSHA standards. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Inspects and measures own work and products to verify conformance to specifications. </li><li>Move materials using forklift and overhead crane according to standard operating procedures, safety regulations and safe practices (training will be provided) </li><li>Willing to work alone and or as a member of an assembly team in the manufacturing process. </li><li>Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Advanced Skills and Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving abilities to address fabrication and assembly challenges & find creative solutions with strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments such as Engineering to recommend ECR changes </li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. </li><li>Self-starter who is able to focus on projects from start to finish with minimal supervision </li><li>Performing advanced metal working techniques that can include: bending, shearing, & grinding </li><li>Accurately reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication. </li><li>Performing thorough visual inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure adherence to Lindberg/MPH quality standards. </li><li>Identifying and correcting welding defects. </li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities to address fabrication and assembly challenges & find creative solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments such as Engineering to recommend ECR changes </li></ul>
