<p>About this role:</p> <p>Wells Fargo is seeking a Due Diligence Consultant for Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Financial Crimes Operations. You will complete detailed written analyses of our high-risk customers to mitigate risk.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Own client onboarding process to mitigate risk through a due diligence process </li><li>Participate in conducting less complex client due diligence processes, research and identify opportunities to mitigate risk </li><li>Consult and provide support to interpret policies, guidelines and governance programs </li><li>Support business in execution of due diligence reporting processes and controls </li><li>Review and analyze client onboarding processes or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives </li><li>Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables </li><li>Aggregate, evaluate and report results and escalate where necessary </li><li>Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the due diligence function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements </li><li>Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals </li><li>May consult and provide support to interpret policies, guidelines and governance programs </li><li>May review and analyze client processes or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/ Anti Money Laundering (AML) /Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) regulatory compliance </li><li>2+ years experience in conducting financial crimes investigations, activity analysis and risk analysis </li><li>Law enforcement or litigation experience </li><li>Clear and concise written communication skills </li><li>Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Ability to interact with all levels of an organization </li><li>Microsoft Office skills </li><li>Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) </li></ul> <p>Job Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement of three days in the physical office per week. </li><li>This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. </li></ul> <p>Locations:</p> <ul> <li>550 S 4th St Minneapolis, Minnesota 55415 </li><li>1525 W W T Harris Blvd Charlotte, North Carolina 28262-8522 </li><li>2801 Market St, F & L Bldg Saint Louis, Missouri 63103 </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
