<p>Department/Unit:</p> <p>Maternal Special Care - D6N</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$40,495.10 - $52,643.64</p> <p>Assembles/maintains patient records, filing data, and obtaining reports and data necessary for departmental operations.</p> <p>Greet and assist visitors in a courteous manner.</p> <p>Answer phones in a courteous manner.</p> <p>Records/relays messages accurately.</p> <p>Locates key personnel to direct calls and respond to inquiries.</p> <p>Makes appointments, booking rooms as necessary.</p> <p>Prepares and distributes outgoing reports via email and inter-departmental mail.</p> <p>Maintains department reports.</p> <p>Operates office machines, such as photocopier, fax machine, and computer.</p> <p>Orders materials, supplies, forms and services, and completes records and reports.</p> <p>Utilize clinical and patient information systems to support the delivery of patient care.</p> <p>Assist in the implementation of specialized projects.</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with post-high school training or related work experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification with the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators (NAHUC) preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of one-year healthcare or clerical experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to operate basic office equipment (fax, photocopier, calculator) and demonstrate basic computer skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to communicate effectively on a wide range of issues with internal and/or external customers, initiate follow-up actions.
