This position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.</p> <p>This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), exempt position with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekend requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Prescribe medications and ensure appropriate use of ancillary services.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide care for patients across a range of health conditions in collaboration with one or more physicians.</p> </li><li> <p>Address acute medical needs promptly and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage timely responses to patient messages and medication refill requests.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Licensure Requirements</p> <p>For Nurse Practitioners:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.</p> </li><li> <p>Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.</p> </li><li> <p>Active Vermont APRN license with eligibility for prescriptive authority.</p> </li></ul> <p>For Physician Assistants:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.</p> </li><li> <p>Current National Certification as a PA.</p> </li><li> <p>Active Vermont PA license with eligibility for prescriptive authority.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum three to five years of direct patient care experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>One to two years of NP or PA experience in primary care highly desirable.</p> </li></ul>
