<p>The Yard Staff safely receives, processes, lines up, sale day support and check-out consigned equipment for the auction. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff</p> <ul> <li>Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) consigned equipment for auction. </li><li>Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction. </li><li>Drives/operates heavy and light equipment. </li><li>Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary. </li><li>Performs basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment. </li><li>Manages keys for equipment. </li><li>Operates forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment. </li><li>Boosts equipment. </li><li>Basic assembly of equipment i.e. dozer blades, etc. </li><li>Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment. </li><li>Lot number equipment. </li><li>Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day. </li><li>Drives sound truck. </li><li>Holds 'This item for sale sign' (stick person). </li><li>Places operators in rolling stock. </li><li>Parks sold equipment on the ramp. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>Good customer service to both internal and external customers. </li></ul>
