Weaving the warmth of southern hospitality with the intuition of Four Seasons service, our team is changing the landscape of Nashville.</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>The Spa & Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for wellness, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):</p> <p>Operational Management:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all aspects of spa operations, including guest services, treatment rooms, facilities, and amenities, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the spa, coordinating with housekeeping and engineering departments as needed. </li><li>Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including emergency response procedures. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the spa team, including therapists, aestheticians, receptionists, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce. </li><li>Conduct regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies, changes, and ways to enhance service and sales. </li><li>Recruit, interview, and select job applicants; effectively supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for spa employees. </li></ul> <p>Guest Experience Enhancement</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and personalized services that exceed guest expectations, including spa treatments, wellness programs, and amenities. </li><li>Interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest satisfaction in a friendly but unobtrusive manner. </li></ul> <p>Financial Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategies to drive spa revenue and profitability, including pricing strategies, package promotions, retail sales, and membership programs. </li><li>Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, capital investment budget, and financial performance evaluations, including reports on sales and operations with supporting statistical data. </li><li>Oversee the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage, and cost-effective usage of all department-related materials and assets. </li></ul> <p>Marketing and Promotion</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the marketing and public relations departments to promote the spa and all relevant treatments and philosophies. </li><li>Predict trends and implement strategies for the benefit of the business, ensuring the spa remains at the forefront of the industry. </li></ul> <p>Non-Essential Functions:</p> <p>Participate in hotel-wide initiatives, including employee wellness programs and leadership development activities. Represent the spa during VIP visits, media tours, and brand-related promotional events. Stay current with spa and wellness industry trends to recommend innovations that enhance guest experience and operational excellence.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a luxury spa setting. </li><li>Demonstrated superior knowledge of spa, wellness, and holistic modalities. </li><li>Thorough understanding of 5-star service standards, effective application of spa staffing models, proven ability to create and implement spa service menus, effective retail management, successful marketing strategies, and demonstrated ability to project costs, revenue, and adhere to budgets. </li><li>Previous experience preferred as a hands-on therapist, such as a massage therapist, aesthetician, or acupuncturist. </li><li>Passion for the health and wellness industry. </li></ul> <p>About Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Nashville</p> <p>A soaring landmark on the Nashville skyline, Four Seasons pays homage to the city's creative spirit. 40 stories high, with 235 keys (42 suites) and 143 residence units, the property is located in the upmarket neighborhood of SoBro where floor to ceiling windows provide unobstructed downtown panoramic views.
