<p>Job Title: Survey CAD Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join a dynamic engineering and surveying firm serving both public and private clients throughout the Midwest as a Survey Technician. The role entails utilizing AutoCAD software to support surveyors by performing a variety of design and drafting activities, including construction layouts, detailed topographic drawings, and other survey-related sketches and diagrams.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Produce drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software. </li><li>Review and analyze sketches, notes, and verbal information to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments. </li><li>Process field crew survey data. </li><li>Conduct trips to the field to clarify or verify survey data or assist field staff as necessary. </li><li>Prepare base survey mapping. </li><li>Create stakeout data for construction layout. </li><li>Revise and modify drawings as necessary. </li><li>Maintain project point database files. </li><li>Plot, organize, and assemble project-related documents. </li><li>Develop, understand, and follow project budgets and schedules. </li><li>Perform duties as assigned by the Project Manager. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>6+ years of survey CAD experience (topographic, boundary, construction layout, as-built). </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. </li><li>Ability to contribute to all phases of the project from start to as-builts. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads. </li><li>Trimble Business Center experience. </li><li>Ability to operate field equipment and perform field surveys. </li><li>Experience in survey CAD work for energy/pipeline-related clients. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is fully in-office with flexibility for occasional site visits. The new office offers an influx of steady work and a collaborative team environment.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, OH.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
