<p>JOB OBJECTIVE: To perform various duties required to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the education animal collection and train a variety of exotic animals to be used in educational programming at the Little Rock Zoo.</p> <p>This is a safety/security sensitive position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.</p> <p>For a complete list of essential job functions please click HERE.</p> <p>These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school and six (6) months of experience in the care of birds, ambassador animals, raptors, reptiles, or other exotic animals in a controlled environment, (based on departmental need) OR two (2) or more years of related education (biology, zoology, wildlife biology, etc.) with an internship in a zoo or sanctuary setting.
