<p>Your Contribution</p> <ul> <li>Glass identification and material handling </li><li>Prepares, setups, operates and adjusts manual and CNC finishing machinery to cut, edge, saw, drill, polish or grind glass or similar materials and tear down of set ups. </li><li>Quality inspection of products </li><li>Proper handling of finished pieces </li><li>Maintain necessary paperwork and recordkeeping and computer entry of work orders and/or logs </li><li>Manual finishing work using hand tools or using tools, equipment, measuring devices, etc. essential to the above tasks </li><li>Requires the simultaneous operation of one or more machines and/or performance of other work assignments </li><li>Performs preventative maintenance on machines </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping according to 5S plus safety principles within work areas </li><li>Transport materials through production process using lifting devices such as Forklift/Raymond </li></ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>1-3 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. </li><li>Ability to work all three shifts on a rotating schedule. </li><li>Ability to manually lift and manipulate 50 pounds. </li><li>Due to the nature of work performed at this facility. </li></ul> <p>Your Benefits</p> <p>At SCHOTT, you can expect a unique corporate culture where we emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion. Starting rate is $27.81 plus $1.50 / hour shift premium. Also includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.</p>
